75-77 Swedish American Med Center Staff Tech 1 year 2nd year: became Assistant Chief and Instructor trained in dosimetry (contact T. Kline, MD) 77-83 University of Kansas Medical Center Kansas City, Ks I was Assistant Chief (in charge of Operations) I was over: 5 Tx rooms 2 Simulators 18 Therapists 10 Students liasoned with: 8 MD's 8 Residents 12 RN's 6 Physicists 3 Transporters 8 Secretaries +/-200 patients per day (Tx and Follow Up) The army was good training for this job. (contact Debby Price, BS, RTT) 83-85 St. Joseph's Medical Center, Wichita, Ks Chief Tech I was brought in to manage an expansion from 15 patients treated on one stationary Linac to 42 patients per day treated on two Tx machines and a new Simulator. As dosimetrist, I used the new Physics computer system that was added to improve planning procedures. (contact: Sister Rebecca Radiology manager) 84 I consulted on a construction project to build a Unit in Ft. Collins Colorado. I was contracted to advise the builders and to set up the vendors and billing procedures. During this time, I wrote "Master Minder-Stats" and "Master Minder-RadOffice" early software packages that I marketed for another decade or so. 85-12/87 Rocky Mountain Radiation Oncology, Ft. Collins, Cio When this facility opened, I became the: Deartment Manager- all functions Implant Tech (staff priveleges at 4 local hospitals) Dosimetrist (contact M.L. Lim, MD) 1/88-8/98 Owens Community College, Toledo, Ohio Program Director-Coordinator I re-openned a program that was dormant. In doing the research work needed to write 300 lectures and labs, I compiled enough material for: 4 books 2 lab manuals 20+ articles 2 software packages (Dosimetry.tbk, "Medical Ethics") I have edited several books and many articles for the trade journals and publishers. TEACHING EXPERIENCE

1969 Joined VISTA assigned to a 3rd grade in Pittsburg, Kansas set up a reading program in Camp #13 (coal town) I taught 100 adults and children to read that year. 71-73 While at U 0f Chicago, I joined Job Corpes. I was assigned to Haarlem HS in Chicago. I taught reading and writing to HS age youth. I also set up an English class for a Cubano Club for ESL to refugees so that they could take professional exams in USA. 71 I began teaching guitar, drums, piano, and flute 76 I taught Math to the radiographers at SAMC in Rockford. I taught RTT to our students and I gave Oncology lectures to the RN program at Rockford college. 78 I wrote the 1st edition of "The easiest Guitar System Ever" (now in 5th edition going to CD-ROM) 78-83 I taught various courses to the RTT students. I gave the Oncology lectures to the RN students at KU. 88-98 I taught 165 lectures and labs every year to RTT students 93 I run the "God and Country" classes for Boy and Girl Scouts at my church.
